Ms. Booker is Of Counsel to Levun, Goodman & Cohen, LLP, and primarily responsible for the firm’s litigation practice. Since 1985, Ms. Booker has litigated diverse commercial disputes as well as contested estate and trust litigation. From 1985 until 1987, Ms. Booker was in private practice handling commercial litigation.  Subsequently, Ms. Booker joined the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, Chicago Field Office, where she spent ten years prosecuting complex white collar criminal cases. While prosecuting for the Department of Justice, Ms. Booker worked closely with governmental investigative agencies to develop evidence of antitrust violations in numerous industries. These investigations resulted in the successful prosecutions of domestic companies and international cartels for violations of the antitrust laws. Ms. Booker also handled civil matters while with the Department of Justice, analyzing civil mergers and acquisitions.

At Levun, Goodman & Cohen, LLP, Ms. Booker has continued to litigate in diverse areas of the law on behalf of the firm's clients which include domestic and international corporations. Ms. Booker has represented both corporate and individual clients in commercial litigation, such as corporate and shareholder disputes, civil and criminal antitrust matters, and employment disputes as well as contested estate & trust matters in Cook, Lake and DuPage Counties and Federal Court.

In addition to representing Levun, Goodman & Cohen's clients, Ms. Booker continues to act as a certified arbitrator in the mandatory court arbitration program for Lake County. In the past, Ms. Booker enjoyed teaching as an adjunct professor at The John Marshall Law School in its legal drafting program.

Ms. Booker received her JD from the American University Washington College of Law, Washington, D.C., in June 1985. She is a graduate of Rutgers University/Rutgers College, New Brunswick, New Jersey and received her degree in May 1982. While with the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, Ms. Booker received the Department of Justice Outstanding Achievement Award in 1997, the 1995 Assistant Attorney General Outstanding Contribution Award, and the Department of Justice Outstanding Achievement Award in 1992. Ms. Booker has also successfully completed the Attorney General's Advocacy Institute Program. She has attended National Institute of Trial Lawyers (NITA) programs and other continuing legal education programs in order to best serve her clients' litigation needs.
